Take care of yourself

Camille's Corner

(of the internet)

Hey beauties,

I want you to take care of yourself this week. I recently got a new tattoo that reads "I can buy myself flowers" inspired by the Miley Cyrus song, Flowers.

I don't want you to shut down and not accept help from other folks. In this season of the year I think it's so important to do that things that you know nourish you. Stop worrying about what's best for others, comparing, or forcing yourself to do something because someone else wants you to. I don't want you to take everything on yourself, because you'll burn out. But I encourage you to embrace what nourishes and feels good to you, and let go of the rest.

Maybe the ways you take care of yourself this week is getting my Grief Meditation or doing your own.

If you want to know how to work through other feelings coming up, you might want to check out my Guide to How to Feel Your Feelings.

It is a colorful 5 page guide to walk you through noticing, identifying, and processing your feelings. As someone who historically intellectualized my feelings or felt like I was going to explode when I was angry or upset, I have been utilizing these skills. One of the things the guide teaches you is how to use a specific breathing technique to feel the feeling and then breathe through it as you work on sitting with the feeling and eventually letting it go. Camille's Corner (of the internet) Happy Aries season! I have been doing all the things recently as I'm really feeling fueled by the Aries season fiery energy. I presented for Evergreen Hearts over the weekend in a talk titled Pagan and Polyamorous where I talked about the overlaps in the communities. I am planning to create a workbook with some of the content from my presentation as well as some exercises and resources for folks on this topic. Let me know if that's something you're...

Camille's Corner (of the internet) January is almost over...finally? I don't know about you but I've been seeing the complaint of January feeling so long all over my internet in the past week. I saw on Instagram someone had shared a post that said: 1 thing about January is that its going to make sure you feel all 31 of the days And I really felt that. It does feel long especially when we're in the depths of winter in the Northern Hemisphere and feeling like that's a struggle. I have been...

Camille's Corner (of the internet) Happy Full Moon in Cancer! I had a chill day yesterday as I usually am tired around the Full Moon time. As I've started to pay more attention to my energy levels around the full moon and new moon, I have been working on creating more downtime and space for myself during full moons since my energy is often sapped then. I usually get less sleep and find myself waking up more at night when the moon is out. I got to see her looking full Sunday evening with clear...
